What is the point of all this?

Fair question.

In one of my darkest moments, I found myself looking up — searching the stars for meaning. And then, something unexpected happened.

Ideas about the universe — things I’d never really thought about — started filling my head. Not just once. Constantly. Until they became a story. A strange, stubborn little story that gave me the faintest hope.

Thanks to the magic of the internet, I learned anyone can write and publish a book. So I did.

I’m Peter Doran — a self-declared award-losing writer — and Tom Miller’s Star-Born Universe is the result.

It’s the story of a young man, a flying car, and a mind that doesn’t quite fit the mold. It’s not perfect. Neither is the cover. Neither am I. But it’s mine — and it’s honest.

After losing my brother to depression, and watching the world grow darker, I wanted to offer something different — a reason to keep going, and a way to believe that the most unusual minds might just change the universe.

This site, and the merchandise on it, is part of that mission. If you’re not ready to dive into the book, wear the idea instead.

Because sometimes the brain that questions everything… is the one that sees the furthest.

Thank you for reading. Thank you if you’ve ever been curious enough to explore the universe I’ve created. And thank you especially if you’ve supported it in any way.

Your support means the universe to me.

Yours sincerely,

Peter Doran
